Yes, when trying to install the SCP Driver to get the ps3 controller to work on Windows 10 the drivers wouldn't properly install and SCP wouldn't install as a service. In order to correct this I needed to disable Driver Signature Enforcement. All you need to do is while holding Shift, click restart in your start menu. Then Windows will give you some options on how to restart. Select Troubleshoot, Then Startup Settings, Advanced Options, Then Startup Settings.
Once your pc reboots you will be presented with Startup Settings, press 7 on your keyboard and when windows fully comes up, follow the instructions on installing SCP Driver. Reboot your PC again so driver signature enforcement is enabled again and plug your PS3 controller into your pc.
Bring up your controller options in the control panel and verify that your PC has detected the PS3 controller and all should be good. SCP Driver worked almost effortlessly for me on W 8.1. I say 'almost' because I got a bit confused on the part where the PS3 DS controller should show up in the PS3 tab options. Mine did not for some reason and I erroneously checked all the USB devices on the list. Upon doing so no USB device would work when connected to the USB ports on my desktop. I then noticed new SCP utilities in the windows programs menu which included a SCP drivers wipe type of program.
I clicked on it and voila all my USB devices worked again! Next I rebooted my desktop and left the PS3 controller plugged in and this time upon opening the SCP driver the PS3 controller showed up in the SCP Driver program PS3 drivers option. I checked it off and installed.
I am not using BT as I do not have a dongle so wired it is for now. Regardless it is working perfectly!.
.Helpful resources.General rules. Follow. Keep it civil and on topic. Someone had a similar problem to you, this might fix it.Actually, seems FIXED:Bottom of your controller is one of those 'hard reset' buttons. You know, the ones you gotta' press with a paperclip or a pin or something?
Poke it for a few seconds. Resets something in your controller. I did it, and when I connected it, I got a proper address in the monitor, and the vibration worked with SCP DS3. I figured it out because I had originally used my other DS3 controller and IT had an address in monitor, but this other one didn't. So I figured it must be the controller itself. Reset it, and it worked.
Now I can use vibration in Fallout new Vegas with SCP DS3, so it should work for Dark Souls too.Source:.
